Sara-Lee Caligiuri

President

Sara-Lee offers deep expertise in navigating and integrating diverse health data systems, and has been a trusted resource for clients managing large-scale transitions and mergers. She is a long-time user of Raiser’s Edge, dating back to its original DOS version, and continues to provide strategic guidance on its implementation and use.​ Sara-Lee is a seasoned database strategist with over 30 years of experience creating data-driven solutions that enhance organizational performance and streamline operations. Her work spans process automation, office management, budgeting, gift processing, solicitor and proposal analysis, data querying, imports and exports, membership and event tracking, prospect research, and KPI dashboard reporting.​

 

She recently served as Vice President of Data and Client Services at Donor Database Experts (formally Marsherall Partners) where she led initiatives to help nonprofit organizations harness the full potential of their data systems. Prior to this role, she served as a consultant at Rochester Regional Health Foundations (RRHF), guiding data strategy and infrastructure development, which later led to her role as Executive Director of Operations. As Executive Director, Sara-Lee oversaw multiple teams, including office management, database, gift processing, and prospect management and research.

Earlier roles include Principal Consultant at a national consulting firm; Director of Data Management at Saint John’s Health Center Foundation and John Wayne Cancer Institute; Database Manager at Cornell University Lab of Ornithology; Database Manager at Willows Community School; Office Manager, Business Office, and Database Manager at Proctor Academy.

 

Throughout her career, Sara-Lee has managed a variety of databases and data warehouses, ranging in size from 5,000 to more 500,000 records, and led data integrations during hospital mergers and acquisitions. Her technical expertise includes Raiser’s Edge (from its DOS version onward), Qlik, Tableau, NXT, NetCommunity, ResearchPoint, Financial Edge, QuickBooks, Omatic, Mailchimp, ThankView, DonorSearch, Target Analytics, WealthEngine, DonorPerfect, and SQL Management, in addition to many other leading CRM and fundraising platforms.
